Made with local Tamba ingredients, soft well water, and the blessings of fermentation, these dishes offer a nostalgic, gentle taste.
Here, you can experience the charm of Japan’s long-loved fermentation culture.

We steam locally sourced organic vegetables from Tamba in traditional wooden seiro steamers, enhanced with our house-made koji and miso for rich fermented flavors. Our food contains no added sugar and is naturally sweetened through fermentation. Please choose from the three types of seiros shown below.

Enjoy seasonal sake paired with pottery and Tamba ware that have long been used to entertain distinguished literary guests.
Guided by our brewers, learn about the flavors and craftsmanship of sake while enjoying your meal.
The venue is the historic Main House, a registered cultural property visited by renowned literary figures, with private rooms usually closed to the public.
